JMU  X-Labs

During the fall of 2018, I engaged in a Community Innovations course through the JMU X-Labs. I worked with an interdisciplinary team to consult with the Healthcare for the Homeless Suitcase Clinic (HHSC), a unique healthcare delivery system that provides mobile healthcare to Harrisonburg's homeless population. Through extensive research, site visits, and interviews, my team and I developed a proposal for the  HHSC to move to a mobile health vehicle model in order to better serve their clients. We presented this proposal (in a shipping container) to our client at the end of the course.
